Tracker

Part of the Open Source Physics project, Tracker is a Java-based video analysis and modeling software. The free and open source software was developed for use in physics experiments to better understand physical events in physics learning and teaching.

Using Java VM and Xuggle video engines, Tracker software analyzes video images in detail. For a correct analysis, it is recommended to determine the location, length, and scale of video objects in advance. It has many facilitating supports such as GUI configuration, font size, and multi-language support.

In Tracker software, you can explain videos better with colored drawings and labels, and use various filters to increase video quality. With this software, you can easily learn various information about videos such as video size, frame rate, path, and number of frames.

You can graph and examine position, speed, and acceleration data in trend analyses. You can create physical models with the obtained motion data and compare them with real-world data. Tracker software, which offers educational materials for instructors, enables students to analyze real-world events through videos and reinforce their theoretical knowledge by concretizing them.
