Electron

Developed by GitHub, Electron is a free, open-source framework. You can easily develop your own projects or corporate projects with Electron, which allows you to develop cross-platform desktop applications with JavaScript, HTML and CSS. The framework, which allows you to develop programs that run on Windows, macOS and Linux with a single code base, allows web applications to be used as desktop applications.

Developed in 2013, Electron can simplify your desktop application development processes, thus focusing on the main purposes of your software and achieving more professional results. With Electron, where you can make adjustments to the appearance of application windows, you can speed up your processes by using operating system-specific tools such as .dmg, .msi, .rpm.

It includes Chromium and Node.js to provide various conveniences for web developers in application development. With Chromium, you can process the interfaces of your Electron applications like a web page. Thanks to Node.js, you can quickly complete operations such as network requests, local file systems and database connections.
