Basilisk

Basilisk, developed by the Pale Moon team, is a new browser alternative to Mozilla based on the code of Firefox versions. Basilisk is a development software that is aimed at developing the XUL platform on which it is built.

Aiming to be a fast and secure browser, Basilisk has an interface similar to Firefox. The new generation browser, which supports many add-ons in Firefox, offers full support for the ECMAScript 6 standard of JavaScript. The software, which offers modern encryption support, uses Goanna as a processing and layout engine. Basilisk, which also has portable versions, can even support older add-ons and extensions in Firefox.
